Takehiko OCHIAI


(At the Man of War Bay, Aberdeen, Freetown, Sierra Leone)

Takehiko OCHIAI is a student of West African Studies. He was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo, in 1965. His current research interests include politics and religion in Nigeria, the civil wars of Liberia and Sierra Leone, West African sub-regional security, ECOWAS, and Japanfs Africa policy. He is a professor of International Relations at Ryukoku University, Kyoto.
